SEMX Corporation (NASDAQ: SEMX) is the leading producer of foundation components for internet backbone servers, wireless base stations, point-to-point and fiber optic devices, and other products requiring advanced materials for microelectronic applications.

Through its Services Group, SEMX runs an international silicon wafer polishing and reclaiming service. Reclaimed wafers are used in the evaluation and testing of equipment and processes in semiconductor fabrication. Reclaimed wafers provide large cost savings over virgin test wafers for customers.

Through its Materials Group, SEMX provides specialty materials and services to the electronic, semiconductor, and automotive industries on a worldwide basis. The company also supplies materials to the wireless communications segment of the industry, making flanges for base stations and materials to support high bandwidth applications. It is therefore positioned to profit from the build-out of the internet and wireless industries.

The Company's customers include Kyocera America, Motorola, IBM, Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor, Hewlett Packard, Analog Devices, Lucent, Visteon, Delphi Automotive Systems, SDL Inc., ST Electronics, Triton Network Systems, Nortel Networks, Cardiac Pacemakers, Medtronics/Micro-Rel, Egide, and Wafernet.
